How Poniq uses cookies and similar technologies on poniq.ai.
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Last Updated: June 21, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Poniq, Inc. (“Poniq,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an independent California corporation founded in 2025, uses cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies (collectively, “cookies”) when you visit our marketing websites (including poniq.ai, the “Site”).
This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy. It does not cover cookies set by third-party websites you visit through links on the Site, or cookies set on your website when you embed the Poniq agent widget (those are under your control as the site operator).
Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device. We also use functionally similar technologies such as local storage and session storage. Cookies can be “first-party” (set by Poniq) or “third-party” (set by a service provider we use). They may be “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (remain until they expire or you delete them).
We group cookies on the Site into the categories below. Non-essential categories are blocked until you consent via our cookie banner or preferences modal.
These cookies are required for core Site functionality and security. They cannot be disabled through our consent tool without breaking the Site.
| Cookie / storage | Details |
|---|---|
poniq_consent |
Provider Poniq (first-party) Purpose Stores your cookie consent choices and consent version. Duration Up to 1 year |
| Session / security cookies | Provider Poniq / Cloudflare Purpose Load balancing, bot mitigation, and security (e.g., Turnstile challenge state during waitlist signup). Duration Session to short-term |
Cloudflare Turnstile: When enabled on the waitlist form, Cloudflare may set cookies or use browser storage to distinguish humans from bots. Turnstile runs only on pages that include the waitlist widget and is treated as strictly necessary for abuse prevention on those forms.
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve content and performance. They are off by default until you opt in.

|---|---|
| Google Tag Manager container | Provider Google Purpose Loads and manages analytics tags based on your consent. Duration Per Google's policies |
| Google Analytics 4 (GA4) | Provider Google Purpose Page views, events, and aggregated usage metrics. Duration Per Google's policies (often up to 2 years) |
Analytics tags are gated by Google Consent Mode v2. Until you consent to analytics, GA4 and related tags do not receive analytics_storage permission.
These cookies support conversion measurement and advertising tags configured in Google Tag Manager. They are off by default until you opt in.

|---|---|
| Tags loaded via GTM | Provider Google and partners configured in GTM Purpose Conversion tracking, remarketing, or campaign measurement (only if configured in our GTM container). Duration Per each provider's policies |
Marketing tags are gated by Consent Mode signals including ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization.
We may use limited functional storage to remember choices such as UI preferences. At present, the Site relies primarily on the necessary consent cookie; additional functional cookies will be listed here if we introduce them.
When you first visit the Site, we display a cookie banner managed through our consent service (delivered via Cloudflare Workers and proxied at /_vp/consent/). You may:
You can reopen the preferences modal at any time via Cookie preferences in the site footer.
We store your selection in the first-party poniq_consent cookie so we do not need to ask on every page load.
The Site loads some assets from third-party content delivery networks. These requests may transmit your IP address and browser metadata to the CDN operator even if no advertising cookie is set.
| Resource | Details |
|---|---|
| Font Awesome stylesheet | Provider Cloudflare cdnjs Purpose Icons and UI affordances |
We do not use these CDNs for cross-site behavioral advertising on the Site.
If you visit a website that embeds the Poniq sales agent, that website operator (our customer) controls most cookies and storage used for the chat session. The widget may use browser storage for session continuity on the customer’s domain. That processing is described in our Privacy Policy (processor role) and in the customer’s own privacy notice. This Cookie Policy does not govern the customer’s site.
Consent tool: Use the banner or footer link Cookie preferences on poniq.ai.
Browser controls: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. See your browser’s help documentation. Blocking all cookies may affect Site functionality.
Google Analytics opt-out: Google provides a browser add-on to opt out of GA: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control: Industry practice for DNT is inconsistent. We honor applicable legal opt-out requirements. Our consent banner is the primary mechanism for non-essential cookies on the Site. We will update this Policy if we expand signal handling.
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on your consent (where required) for non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are used based on our legitimate interests in operating a secure, functional website.
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, vendors, or law. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Material changes may be accompanied by additional notice.
